Thunder struck with the wonderful effect of lightening so bright
Rained heavy, to get us all dancing in it
no stone left unturned
no drink left undrunk
Rainbow,  at night I guess it is rare
It had four colors, the max our pockets could bare

being 1^st timers, somethings even went wrong
most importantly it was an orgasm all night long

 This was just the start of the big fat panju wedding

lots of things that went down tumbling

From unlimited bottles of beer
to scotch with soda to cheer
where ex girl-friends come and dance without fear

Friends flying in from far, from not...
some super cold, some purely hot

Day started with beer brunch
surely 3 more sessions to go post lunch
managing some work, between this time crunch

The stealer was the cocktail night
the music was talking to the light
and the dance floor conquered by the kings’ knights

Life consists of 3 pillars, the yesterday, today and tomorrow,
most of today is spent correcting the yesterday, no doubt it being the best that could be done in that situation;
and the rest in forecasting what can be the available problems tomorrow and the safer option.

Lets consider the success of this plan now. But the result

TOUCH OF GOLD

“I touch gold n it turns copper!!”, he said
She looked but didn’t react,

once more and that was it, as soon as he started

She brought up her hand and said 2 words “touch this”
He didn’t understand
she said again “touch this”, pointing at a ring in the thick of her hand….
and continued even before he could react
“ touch this and lets c if this turns copper”

She pulled his hand and made him touch the diamond and the gold,
“will this turn copper now….”  She asked expecting no reply
“if it had turned copper, it was not pure….
Never say this again and of yourself be sure!!”

A silence followed,
It felt good
Brought a smile back on the face of my heart.

I have faith in her,
I sure do,
I will pray to god, please make her statement true,
cause only I know
While reaching for the ring I touched her too.

Life is but a complex chess board,

Where the colour options are unlimited

No one knows why thy has been created

Pawns are the normal rest that are left to battle

Well none will even know the relation of the last n the one to come.

Not even the king is all we fight for

Cause the king itself can’t move on its own for sure

So here is a power that’s making the pieces move

And all in ur life u can is wait for that power

Easy going was life, has become ambitious now.

Out of the small window; all that we could see, was all we knew
Now the location has changed and everything around seems so new.
Changed has the time; so have we,
Had never imagined it to be at this degree.

The wine is still the same; just the glasses have changed,
And I guess that's the reason why, only matured wines are framed....

SWIM & DIVE

I learnt to swim after diving!!

The journey, I started a year back

But I didn’t know what I was climbing.

Learning a few controls n little about the steering;

Now atleast I can move in the direction I am driving..

 

Am I leading the way

Or is the way leading me

Surely is a thing worth finding.

If I am leading the way

Then how far have I reached from the starting.

And if the way is leading me

Then how far away can I see the ending.

 

They say “You tend to forget the bruises

That you got while crawling once you start running.”

Over the fire and the ice

As of now I am crawling.

And with the support of a stick called time

Am trying to get-up and start walking.

 

The day will soon come when not only

Will I be running with the best

But also racing!!
