A celebration was more cheerful, when you didn’t understand why the party,
all u cared about was, you have the knife that will cut the cake…
all u knew was, that no one else gets to open the gifts….
A meal was more satisfying when you didn’t know the nutrition value,
all u cared about was, you have to finish your food before your sibling….
all u knew was, you have to chew 32 times per bite….
Dancing was more passionate when you didn’t know about the forms,
all u knew was, that you didn’t care who was looking….
all u cared about was you can hear a beat that tell your body to move….
Sleeping was more refreshing when you didn’t know how many hours make a ideal sleep,
all u knew was, that you didn’t care when u have to wake up….
all u cared about was you have a hand patting on ur back….
We crawled, as infants…. Bruising here and there
We ran, a toddlers…. Falling here and there
I swam, as a kid…. Gasping now and then
I drove, as a boy…. Bumping now and then
You expected, as a adult…. Failing here and there,
You expected, as a man…. Failing, Bumping, Gasping, Falling, Bruising all the time.
The same bruise today, horrifies us
The same fall today, embarrasses us
Gasping today is unacceptable
Bumping today is not allowed
The same expecting today is not expected..
Love was more romantic when we didn’t know when valentines was,
all u didn’t know was, what expectations meant….
all u didn’t care about was, what you get in return….
try to live tomorrow like there was no yesterday..
